TAP, the aspiring poet, is open and water is flowing. I wrote these after watching Frozen, hence the title. I hope you enjoy reading.
Where the north wind meets the sea;
I hear you calling me,
Like Elsa, in Frozen two.
Too frozen to move;
I hear what you’re telling me:
Remove the shackles!
Only feared beasts are shackled!
Free your mind,
You’re one of a kind.
Don’t fear the unknown.
Follow your soul
Into the unknown!
We all laughed
At the thought of a snowman in summer.
He belonged in the winter.
He would fall in autumn.
He wouldn’t be able to bounce back in spring.
How do we beat the heat,
The peer pressure that burns around?
Do we change state and evaporate?
How do we keep warm in the winter
From icy hearts and cold stares?
Do we release a fleece, toss a throw and blanket the snow?
Or play with ice and get frostbite?
Olaf enjoyed summer;
He was still snow.
